When We Are Closed

There is a full Out of Hours emergency GP service available to patients registered with our group even when our two sites are closed.

For more information about Devon Docs go to:

www.devondoctors.co.uk

For information about Kernow Health go to:

http://www.kernowhealthcic.org.uk/cornwall-111

For urgent advice and treatment:

call NHS 111 by dialling 111 .

Always call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

If you have to contact the Out of Hours service through Devon Docs, Kernow Health or NHS 111 and you are advised to be seen at a treatment centre you may have a choice where you are seen.  Please ask for your options at the time. Please note that Bideford Hospital Minor Injuries Unit (MIU) is no longer open (July 2021).

Alternatively, and if your condition is non-urgent, please use the on-line consultation options on the Appointments page.

NHS 111 Online

111 online is a fast and convenient alternative to the 111 phone service and provides an option for people who want to access 111 digitally.

Your needs will be assessed and you will be given advice about whether you need:

  • Treat yourself at home
  • Go to a Primary Care Centre

If you need face to face medical attention you may be asked to attend a Primary Care Centre.
