MENOPAUSE MEDICATIONS UPDATE: NEW FROM APRIL 2023

From 1st April 2023, women prescribed HRT - the main treatment for menopause symptoms - now have access to a new scheme enabling them to access to a year’s worth of HRT medication via an annual pre-payment certificate (PPC) costing £19.90 (from 1st May 2024).

The HRT PPC covers an unlimited number of certain HRT medicines for 12 months, regardless of why they are prescribed. It does not cover all HRT medicines however. To find out more and check if you are eligible to apply click HERE
