Dr Roz Hallewell
Gender: Female
Primary qualifications: MBBS, MRCGP, PG Cert Clinical Education
Working days: Tuesday, Wednesday (Term-time only)
I qualified from Hull York Medical School in 2012 and completed my Foundation training in Cumbria. After some time travelling and working in New Zealand, I did my GP training in London, completing this in 2020. I moved to Devon in 2021 to enjoy the outdoors and start my family.
Alongside general practice, I have a strong interest in medical education, having worked in numerous teaching roles, and I currently run a medical aesthetics clinic.
I have a special interest in urgent and same-day care, drawing on several years' experience as a GP in A&E and as an out-of-hours doctor. I am committed to providing safe, evidence-based, patient-centred care, and I love hearing about my patients' lives.
Out of medicine, I live in Okehampton with my young family and enjoy walking and swimming, making the most of the outdoors on Dartmoor and the coast. I'm also an avid reader of fantasy, romance, and historical fiction.
