Check Your Blood Pressure At Home

Check your blood pressure at home by borrowing a blood pressure monitor from your local library for free!
The UK's biggest blood pressure awareness campaign, Know Your Numbers Week, is running from 7th to 13th September 2026.
The campaign will focus on the estimated 4.2million adults living with high blood pressure without knowing it, raising their risk of stroke, heart attack, kidney disease, vascular dementia and early death. To support local hypertension case finding, NHS devon, Public Health Devon and Libraries Unlimited are asking GP practices to help promote Devon's free blood pressure monitor loan scheme available through libraries.
